Forest Tea is a collection of craft groups. It began as a craft group of new mums who meet together once a week to chat, drink tea eat gluten-free cakes and recipe inventions (one of us is gluten-intolerant - the proper kind, not the faddy variety). The mums have been meeting up for almost 3 years now and as people go back to work or move, faces have changed, but the group survives! Craft is our bond! More exclamation marks!!
Forest Tea has evolved to include new grown up craft group nights out. We catch up in the evening and drink wine (or tea). The delicious tradition of primo baking continues, thank goodness!
We thought it would be nice to look back on some things we've made as we realised that we've all made quite a lot over the years and have achieved great things on occasion.
We all love Home and Garden style magazines and have been known to spend hours looking through them. This blog includes some of the things we see and think "I could do that" or "I like that, but think it would better like this" sort of thing.
Sometimes we make things that we have never seen in a magazine. Those cases are either things that no one else wants so why would it be in a magazine, or totally genius and we are the coolest for inventing it. (It is always possible that these are things that are already in a magazine somewhere, we just haven't seen it).
